Richard R. Howe

Richard R. Howe retired as a partner of the law firm of Sullivan & Cromwell LLP at the end of 2009 and is now senior counsel to the firm. His practice is focused principally on corporate and securities law matters, mergers and acquisitions, financial institutions and executive compensation issues. Mr. Howe has been active in Bar Association affairs and has served as chair of the Business Law Section of the New York State Bar Association, a member of the Board of Directors of the New York County Lawyers’ Association and chair of many Bar Association committees. He is currently President and a director of Peoples’ Symphony Concerts of New York City and Treasurer and a director of the National Committee on American Foreign Policy, Inc
