The June 28-29 Cross-Taiwan Strait trilateral conference came at a particularly useful time, offering scholars from the PRC, Taiwan and the U.S. the opportunity to explore ways to contribute to more productive cross-Strait exchanges in the wake of Taiwan's recent change of government.
