The NCAFP, in cooperation with the China Institute of International Studies (CIIS), hosted a US-China emerging leaders Track II dialogue. American and Chinese participants reflected on the last 40 years of US-China relations, and while participants agreed that more dialogue and cooperation on common interests were needed, there was a mix of both optimism and pessimism on what could be done in the near and long-term to help get bilateral relations back on track.
