On May 26, 2016, in cooperation with the Korea Society, the NCAFP held a Track 1.5 U.S.-China-ROK-Japan Quadrilateral conference to discuss security issues in East Asia, including the changing regional balance of power and how to resolve problems such as tensions over maritime territorial claims and North Korea's nuclear program.
